Hey,
My name is Kathy Kindlesparker and for over 2 years I worked at Bourbon City Animal Hospital with Dr. Alex Shelley and have been working as a veterinary technician in Bardstown for 22 years. After moving to the Bardstown area with my dog Lenny in 2003, I began my veterinary technician career with Dr. Perkins at SpecialPets Healthcare. I then transitioned to the Humane Society of Nelson County. During that time, I worked with Raptor Rehab of Kentucky and built my family. I started working for Dr. Lisa Seibert at Bardstown Veterinary Clinic in 2009. Under her tutelage, I gained advanced knowledge in dental and cardiac care. I also received certification in Veterinary Herbal Medicine and learned the fear-free approach. While at BVC, I earned an associate’s degree in Veterinary Technology. I also received a medical license from the state of Kentucky.
During my time in clinic, I noticed the most recurrent behavior was the anxiety pets experienced when away from home. Anxiety can lead to other physical stresses including inappetence and stomach issues. Being away from home is stressful but sometimes needed. At KDogg’s, I strive to create a comfortable home environment. We work slowly with your pet to help them enjoy their stay. We understand the need to keep your pet on a regular feeding and walk schedule as well as medication administration. KDogg’s provides daily communication and will go the extra mile to make sure your pet is having a great vacation so you can enjoy yours!
